Growing with Serco – 
a ShareSave made simple

Serco, a global leader providing essential public services across 20+ countries, operates in diverse sectors from healthcare to waste management. With 50,000 employees, many felt disconnected from the overall Serco brand.

To unite their workforce and offer them a stake in the company’s future, Serco launched MyShareSave, a simple, risk-free share plan. However, despite its potential, only 5.4% of employees had signed up by 2022.

Serco set a goal to boost participation to 30%, but faced challenges such as diverse work locations, limited access to emails, and financial apprehension.

OUR APPROACH
  • Simplify the message: Focused on making the plan clear, risk-free, and appealing by highlighting the low commitment and high reward.
  • Develop engaging content: 
Created easy-to-understand materials like eye-catching screensavers, intranet banners, and a user-friendly website with calculators and animations.
  • Empower managers: Provided customisable presentations and briefings to help them encourage sign-ups within their teams.
THE RESULTS
The campaign achieved a 45% increase in global uptake, with the UAE seeing a 157.9% spike.

Over 50% of new participants were first-timers, demonstrating successful engagement and growing excitement for Serco’s future.
